Who operates Orbitfall

Orbitfall: Fleet Command is an independently operated entertainment multiplayer game. It is published through xAI/Grok app infrastructure where applicable, may run on Vercel hosting, may use Cloudflare at the network edge where applicable, and uses a separate durable game coordinator service to keep match state authoritative. Orbitfall is not endorsed by X, xAI, SpaceX, Vercel or Cloudflare.

What Orbitfall may process

To run multiplayer matches, Orbitfall may process:

  • Temporary player or session identifiers (including anonymous client IDs used for matchmaking)
  • Room identifiers, match identifiers, generation/version markers and invite codes
  • Matchmaking queue state and ticket status
  • Assigned player role or seat in a room
  • Fleet placement and game actions (for example lock, fire, leave)
  • Turn, winner, abandonment and reconnection state
  • Timestamps and room-expiration information
  • Chat messages or preset tactical communications and related event metadata
  • Reports and moderation records you submit
  • Essential localStorage or browser session data needed for reconnection, preferences (for example mute) and first-time notices
  • Ordinary technical hosting logs, which may include IP address, browser, device and request information

Why we process this data

Game state is processed to operate multiplayer matches, enforce turn order, hide opposing fleets until revealed by play, reconnect seats, expire idle or finished rooms, deliver preset communications, and reduce abuse.

Invite codes are temporary access links. Share them only with people you intend to play with.

Chat messages (including presets) and player callsigns may be visible to your opponent in the same match.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell player data.
  • We do not add advertising, behavioral tracking or optional analytics in the game client for this release.
  • We do not offer permanent match history, long-term recovery of finished rooms, or an uptime guarantee.

Storage and retention

Data should be retained only as needed for active matches, abuse prevention and reasonable service operation. Room expiration ends ordinary play access to a room; it is not a promise that all infrastructure logs disappear at that exact moment.

Essential browser storage (sessionStorage / localStorage) is used for seat reconnection, matchmaking tickets, mute preference and similar operational needs. If only essential storage is used, no cookie consent banner is required for that essential storage alone.

Infrastructure providers

Depending on deployment, processing may involve: xAI/Grok publishing infrastructure; Vercel where the client or APIs are hosted; a separate durable Orbitfall coordinator used for authoritative room and chat state; and Cloudflare where traffic is proxied. Each provider processes technical data under its own role as host or network operator.

Age

The service is intended for players aged 13 and older.

Your requests

For applicable privacy or deletion requests, contact engineering@arkhe-technologic.com. We may need enough detail to locate operational records. Some ephemeral match data may already have expired.
